The Copyright Masters are getting Nasty

Apparently, a Tucson Bar own was fined about $48,000 plus dollars for using some copyrighted songs in a Karaoke setting.

Karaoke night at Chuy’s Mesquite Broiler in Tucson, AZ has landed its owner in trouble to the tune of $48,694, including $3,000 in damages, for apparently using some 14 copyrighted songs without permission …

Before anybody sues us at Update Tucson, we take pains to stay within copyright law. We use videos from public sources like YouTube, etc.
